For any fellow Mac peasants, including those on ARM, I can confirm that repentance works flawlessly (so far) over crossover on my M1 MacBook Air.

Instructions:

Download crossover (free 14 day trial)

Click "Install a windows application"

Search and install for steam, should have quite a few prompts and terms to sign

Open steam and login in, install Binding of Isaac normally with DLC

Should work from there, although you may need to right click steam under "bottles" and click "install software into steam". Install both "DXVK" and "DirectX for Modern Games"
